History Under the Floorboards exhibit

At Historic Fort Snelling, visitors will find the History Under the Floorboards exhibit in the Officers’ Quarters which explores what we learn from archaeology at Fort Snelling. To augment what you see in the exhibit, We have created an iPad app which allows visitors to explore an ineractive 3d model of the archaeolgical excavation, with the ability to view historic photographs and additional descriptive information. The application is primarily intended to be used by visitors to the fort, but is available for download on the iPad app store as well.

This content is being developed through a partnership with the Minnesota Historical Society Archaeology Department.
